Seamus Weldon Memorial Tournament ๐
Best of luck to our Blackhall Gaels U10 footballers as they head to Fossa GAA Club this Saturday, August 15th, for the Seamus Weldon Memorial Football Tournament.
We are delighted to be taking part in what promises to be a fantastic day of football, with over 600 young footballers from clubs across the country, including visiting teams from Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Meath and St. Barnabas from New York.
Our Group A matches on Pitch 1 are:

A wonderful tournament celebrating the memory of Seamus Weldon, who made Fossa his home after returning from England and became a much loved member of the local community. His family connections also run deep in our own club, with his sisters Rita Jennings and Madeline Hennessy still living in Mulhussey, and their children and grandchildren having a long history with Blackhall Gaels.
We hope our young Gaels have a brilliant day, make memories and enjoy every minute of the football.
