Another exciting week for our juvenile teams with plenty of determination, resilience and memorable performances across football and hurling.
Tuesday
Our U14 boys footballers welcomed Summerhill to Kilcloon for their final Division 2 league fixture. After facing a sizeable half-time deficit, the lads produced a remarkable second-half comeback, showing outstanding character and teamwork to finish the league on a high. A fantastic boost as they now turn their attention towards the championship in August.
**Wednesday **
Our amalgamated Dunboyne/Blackhall U18 minor hurlers travelled to face Kilmessan in the Division 1 semi-final. Although the result didn't go their way, the lads showed great heart and determination in the second half, battling until the very end. They can take plenty of positives from their effort and commitment throughout the campaign.
Sunday
Our U14 boys hurlers produced another memorable performance in the Division 4 Final against Kildalkey. After trailing at half-time, the lads displayed tremendous work rate, belief and resilience to mount a superb comeback and claim the title. Their reward is promotion to Division 3, where they will look forward to the next challenge with confidence.
Congratulations to all our players, coaches, mentors and families for another fantastic week. It is brilliant to see our young players continuing to develop, support one another and represent Blackhall Gaels with such pride.
