💙💛 U18 Football 7s Tournament Semi Final 💚❤️
Our Blackhall Gaels/Kilbride U18 Footballers saw their 7s Tournament journey come to an end on Monday evening, falling to a strong Na Fianna side in the semi-final.
The lads found it difficult to get into the game early on, and with the fast-paced 7s format and quarters of just seven minutes, it proved challenging to turn the momentum around.
While the result was disappointing, the players never stopped working and continued to battle right to the final whistle. Their commitment and determination throughout the tournament have been a credit to themselves and their clubs.
The squad can take plenty of positives from their performances over the three nights, showing resilience, teamwork and a willingness to learn and adapt to a different style of football.
While there was disappointment on the night, this group now turns its attention to the upcoming league semi-final in the coming weeks. No doubt the experience gained from this tournament will stand to them as they prepare for the next challenge.
Well done to all the players and management on their efforts throughout the competition, and best of luck in the league semi-final.
