Aanya was part of a talented Meath squad that enjoyed a fantastic day of camogie, recording victories over Wicklow and Westmeath before narrowly missing out on a place in the Cup Final on scoring difference. The team finished the day on a high by winning the Shield Final, while the Meath Green Team playing in Dunganny claimed Cup honours.
It was a hugely successful and well-supported event, brilliantly organised by Meath Camogie and hosted by Trim GAA, showcasing the incredible talent emerging throughout the county.
We are immensely proud of Aanya's achievement and delighted to see so many young players representing Meath with such skill, commitment and passion. The future of Meath Camogie is looking very bright, and it is wonderful to see the county going from strength to strength this season.
Well done Aanya, and best of luck to all involved in the next blitz at Croke Park in August!
