What an amazing final and a brilliant night for our U13 Camogie girls in Batterstown.
From the throw-in, the girls showed incredible determination, pace and work rate, never giving up for a single moment. Every player played their part in a fantastic contest, with the team displaying the commitment, teamwork and skill that have been evident throughout the season.
The girls battled for every ball, supported one another throughout and worked tirelessly right to the final whistle. Their character and resilience shone through when it mattered most, and they were deservedly rewarded for all of their hard work with the Division C League title.
To say we are proud of these girls is an understatement. They have represented Blackhall Gaels with pride all season, and this victory is a testament to the dedication they have shown at training and on match days.
A huge thank you to our coaches and mentors for their commitment throughout the year, and to the parents, families and supporters whose encouragement has been invaluable every step of the way.
We were also delighted to welcome Meath Camogie Chairperson and Blackhall Gaels member, Kieran Devaney, who presented the shield to the girls following the match, making the occasion even more special.
