Another fantastic week for our juvenile players with great participation, teamwork and skill development on display across football and camogie.
π Wednesday
Our U13 camogie girls were first into action as they travelled to face Drumree in Division C. Despite difficult weather conditions, the girls showed tremendous determination and work rate throughout. While the result did not go their way, there were plenty of positives to take from the performance. The team now looks ahead to the Division C Final on 12th June, where they will meet Drumree once again.
π Thursday
Our U11 girls travelled to Ratoath for Round 5 of the Spring League. With 24 players lining out across three teams, the girls were outstanding throughout the evening. The hard work being put in at training is clearly paying off, with excellent teamwork, work rate and confidence on display.
Also on Thursday evening, our U9 boys took part in a blitz in Dunshaughlin against Dunshaughlin and Dunboyne. A total of 29 players represented BHG and every one of them contributed brilliantly in challenging conditions. The standard of tackling, passing and overall play was excellent throughout.
π Saturday
Our U9 camogie girls enjoyed a great morning in Kiltale, taking on Kiltale and Donaghmore/Ashbourne. There was some excellent striking, tackling and teamwork on display, with all the girls showing great enthusiasm and skill.
Our U7 boys footballers travelled to Dunboyne for a football blitz against Boardsmill and the hosts. Great teamwork, passing and defending were evident throughout the morning. A special mention to our older boys who stepped into goals to help out when needed.
π Sunday
Our U7 camogie girls travelled to Na Fianna for a blitz where they played three matches. The girls showed fantastic determination, teamwork and striking skills throughout the day and represented the club brilliantly.
Well done to all our players, coaches and families. It is wonderful to see so many young players enjoying their games, developing their skills and supporting one another across the club.
