Another busy week for our juvenile teams with plenty of football and hurling action, great performances and fantastic team spirit shown throughout.
Monday
Our U12 boys hurlers continued their unbeaten run with another strong away performance against Longwood. The boys are showing great consistency and teamwork as their league campaign progresses.
In Kilcloon, our U16 boys hurlers produced an excellent performance to claim the Division 2 Shield title. A tremendous achievement for the squad and a reward for the hard work they have put in throughout the season.
Tuesday
Our U14 boys footballers travelled to Skryne and showed great character to produce a strong second half display. The lads worked tirelessly for each other and were rewarded with a well deserved victory.
Wednesday
Our U13 camogie girls travelled to Killyon and gave a fantastic account of themselves. Their teamwork, communication and determination were evident throughout, and the continued improvement across the panel is great to see.
Back in Kilcloon, our U12 girls hosted Trim in Division 1 and Division 3 football. With support from our U11 girls, two excellent games were played in glorious sunshine. Great skill, teamwork and sportsmanship were on display from both clubs, with players enjoying a well earned treat together afterwards.
Saturday
Our U15 girls brought their Spring League campaign to a close against Kilmessan. The girls battled bravely throughout and showed great commitment and team spirit right to the final whistle. They now turn their attention towards FΓ©ile in June.
Well done to all our players, coaches and families. The effort, progress and enjoyment being shown across all age groups continues to make everyone in BHG proud.
