A fantastic evening in Kilcloon as our U16 boys secured the Division 2 Shield Final with a superb team performance against Dunderry.

From the first whistle the lads showed real intensity, work rate and togetherness. Every player played their part in a committed display that reflected the effort they have been putting in all season.

This group continue to grow together, showing great attitude on and off the pitch. They support each other, push each other on, and represent the club with pride every time they pull on the jersey.

Huge credit to the players and management for the work behind the scenes, and to the families and supporters who were there on the night adding to the occasion.

It is also great to see the influence this team has on the younger age groups, inspiring the next wave of hurlers and camógs who look up to them and try to follow their example in their own games and in the garden at home.

A very proud moment for the club and a well deserved win for a special group of players. Plenty more to come from them as the summer season continues.
