Another busy and brilliant week for our juvenile teams in Blackhall Gaels, with great effort and spirit shown across all age groups.
U15 LGFA
Our U15 LGFA girls made the trip to Simonstown and came away with a well deserved win after a strong team performance.
U14 Hurlers
The U14 boys hurlers kicked off their season away to Donaghmore Ashbourne with a reduced squad but showed great determination to secure a hard earned victory. A fantastic start to the year and those Easter eggs were definitely well earned.
U16 Hurling and Football
Our U16 boys got their league campaigns underway in both football and hurling. They opened with a strong win at home to Rathkenny in difficult conditions and carried that momentum into the week with another impressive win over Drumree in the hurling. The boys were back in action last night, Monday April 6th, in Round 2 of the football against Bective. They fought hard and showed great determination but just fell short on the night.
U14 Meath Hurling
A special mention to Philip Daly who represented Meath at U14 level, lining out at full back against Laois. A proud moment for Philip, his family and the club, and hopefully the first of many more to come.
Blackhall Bees Nursery
Our Blackhall Bees Nursery group will return on April 18th at 10am at the ballwall. This is open to children aged 4 to 6 years, born in 2020, 2021 and 2022. For further information please contact Loretta on 086 8595107.
Best of luck to all our juvenile teams in their upcoming matches this week π΅π‘πͺ
