Well done to all the lads who played last Saturday ( and previously on January 5th) in the U14 Boyne Cup 9-a-side Hurling Tournament.
After a sluggish start to our first game vs Longwood, we dug deep and got over the line with a 1-point win. After resetting, we went into the second game vs Boardsmill and found a much better rhythm, running out winners again.
Our final game vs The Saints was a real step up. Everyone hit the ground running and we were comfortable winners against the one team that got the better of us last year.
Unfortunately, we missed out on a place in the final on points difference to Longwood, but the performances on the day were a great indication of what this group is capable of heading into 2026. 💪
