On September 29th, our Amalgamated Minor Boys Football Team faced Ballinlough in their second final of the year, competing for the Division 5 Shield.
And what a performance it was, another final win for the lads!
We led 2-9 to 1-3 at halftime, showing great skill and teamwork across the pitch. Credit to Ballinlough, who came out fighting in the second half and closed the gap to just two points by the final whistle, even after six minutes of added time. It was a tense finish, but our boys showed incredible composure and determination to see the game out and claim a well-deserved victory.
This team has consistently demonstrated strength, grit, and togetherness throughout their training and matches, and as a club, we could not be prouder of their journey and achievements.

As some of these players now move on to Senior Football, we wish them continued success with their new teams, and we look forward to seeing them back on the field soon for the upcoming U19 Tournament, which kicks off in the next week or so.
