Community Grant Announcement

After careful consideration, the Blackhall Gaels Clubhouse in Batterstown has been selected as the community building to benefit from a €10,000 Solar PV grant, approved by the Batterstown SEC (Sustainable Energy Community), a sub-committee of the Batterstown VEA (Village Enhancement Association).

We would like to acknowledge the outstanding efforts of Philip McCormack, who has been instrumental in driving sustainability initiatives for both Batterstown Village and our Clubhouse. His dedication, along with the commitment of the Batterstown SEC team, has made this achievement possible.

Blackhall Gaels are deeply grateful to be the beneficiary of this grant. This investment will allow us to continue developing our clubhouse and grounds, while moving towards a more sustainable and energy-conscious future for our community.

This project marks an exciting step forward for Batterstown as a leader in community sustainability and renewable energy.
